Smart Agriculture

Grow with data from every field and greenhouse

Long-range, solar-friendly sensors for soil moisture, micro-climate, greenhouses and irrigation, so growers can use water and inputs more precisely.

Overview

Why it matters

Farms are large, power is unreliable and mobile coverage is patchy. We design for those realities, using long-range, low-power radios and solar-powered nodes, so growers get field-level data on their phones without walking every acre.

Sound familiar?

  • Irrigation is scheduled by habit rather than actual soil moisture.
  • Greenhouse temperature and humidity swing without anyone noticing.
  • Pumps are switched on and off manually across distant plots.
  • Mobile network coverage in the field is weak or absent.

What we monitor

Signals we capture

  • Soil moisture and temperature at multiple depths
  • Local weather: rainfall, temperature, humidity, wind
  • Greenhouse and polyhouse climate
  • Irrigation pump status and remote on/off control
  • Water tank, pond and borewell levels

What changes

Outcomes to aim for

  • Water used where needed

Moisture data supports irrigation decisions plot by plot.

  • Fewer field visits

Check conditions and control pumps from a phone.

  • Climate kept in range

Greenhouse alerts help protect sensitive crops from heat and humidity stress.

  • Built for the field

Rugged, weather-resistant enclosures with solar or long-life battery power.

Actual results depend on your site, assets and processes. We define measurable success criteria with you before every pilot.

A good fit for

Who this is for

  • Commercial farms & plantations
  • Greenhouse & polyhouse growers
  • Farmer producer organisations
  • Agri-input & seed companies
  • Research & demonstration plots

Common questions

How far can the sensors be from the gateway?

LoRaWAN can cover several kilometres in open terrain, depending on the landscape and antenna placement. We run a coverage check during the survey.

Do the sensors need mains power?

No. Field nodes run on batteries or small solar panels, and gateways can be solar-powered where grid power isn't available.

Have a problem you want to measure?

Tell us about your site, your assets and what's keeping you up at night. An engineer will get back to you, usually within one working day, to talk through whether a pilot makes sense.
